The basics are as follows: You pay a flat fee for the marketing services provided by our brokerage or another licensed broker in your area. This includes a minimum term listing agreement that can be cancelled at any time with no obligation to pay us anything more - effectively allowing you, the seller, to sell the home yourself or withdraw the listing from the MLS at anytime with no more fees or commissions*. The benefit of listing on the MLS instead of on other FOR SALE BY OWNER websites is that other brokers and buyer agents will be able to see your listing - most of the buyers out there have buyer's agents and do not look at the FSBO websites very often. The FSBO websites are often visited by other brokers looking for a deal themselves, other investors, or other sellers looking for alternatives to higher priced listing agents and brokers. Sellers today need a real solution to effectively gain the exposure for their house that has been traditionally reserved only for real estate agents.
